Thor was born in North Central Kansas and was bred out of Triple C Labs. Thor was bred from a Chocolate Sire and a Yellow Dam. Thor was bred for bird hunting purposes. He is a very agile and athletic. He once jumped and cleared the side of an F-150 into the bed without a running start. He has been at a steady weight between 65-70 lbs through adulthood. He is a great retriever with a soft jaw. I acquired him with intentions to do some hunting but as life moved in other directions, Thor just became a special family dog. He is infatuated with water and loves going for swims. If you have a pool, watch out because he is going in. I acquired Thor in my junior year of college. He is very social and loves being around people. When he was a puppy he was raised in a college house with five roommates. So he was given a lot of attention and love. This is probably the cause of his confusion that he thinks he is a lap dog. He lived down the street from his brother and looked forward to his daily visits and play time. He loves being around other dogs and children. He loves the smell of babies and loves giving kisses. I have a handicapped sister that has cerebral palsy and down syndrome. It is amazing that he can sense this and will tone his behavior down when around her. It is the only time when I am in the room where he pays no attention to his owner and completely focuses on her. Thor’s tail is the exact same height as a standard coffee table. So when excited he can easily clear the entire table with his tail. Thank God for the Rug Doctor. The idea for Thor and I was to move back to New Orleans after graduation and begins his duck hunting hobby down in the swamps. Hurricane Katrina happened and spoiled both of our plans. So he went with me to South Carolina for a very short time. Good thing he loves car rides because he put in about four thousand miles that year. In pursuit of work, Thor and I moved to Arizona in 2006. Since then both of us have been adjusting to the weather change and are still not use to it. Now, Thor loves his visits to Canyon and Roosevelt Lakes for swimming and relaxing. He also loves going on hikes and has learned the danger of cacti.

Sky was born in Yuma, Arizona and was bred by Charles and Diane Patterson. Sky is bred from a Silver Dam, officially consider Chocolate, and a Yellow Sire. Sky was also a dog bred for hunting purposes. She runs with grace with a huge open stride that will allow her to move well in shallow water in the field. She weights on average between 55-60 lbs. On her first day out of the house and away from her siblings she ventured to the Colorado River for a day of exploration and swimming. She explored a sandbar for about ten minutes and went for a dip. She then proceeded to sleep for the rest of the day. She had blue eyes when she was a puppy which is the explanation of her name. It did not take long for her eye color to change after she was officially named and now makes no sense. Can you tell I have to give this explanation a lot? Sky was pretty much raised by Thor so she picked up a lot of the same characteristics as him. She loves lying on laps and is very jealous when other dogs are getting attention. She will butt herself into whatever is going on. So I usually end up with two Labradors on me at all times. Sky is very emotional and is the sweetheart wherever she goes. She loves to sit right in front of you and stare, sometimes for hours at a time. Sky is currently going by the name Prego as you can see by the pictures she looks absolutely miserable. I ensure you she is being treated like a queen. Sky loves to play tug-a-war with Thor and she usually wins. She also loves running up and down the stairs and I am not sure why.
